Soraya Abad-Mota

After two and half decades as a faculty at Universidad Simón Bolívar (USB) and consultant in Caracas, Venezuela. Soraya is reinventing herself and opened another door at University of New Mexico. She has studied, developed, and taught Databases at USB and for external companies (banks, oil companies, and environmental agencies). Directed more than 30 students in 15 senior year projects of her own creation. Supervised as an academic adviser, other 25 students in joint projects with varied private and governmental organizations; the projects were developed by senior students at the outside organization, as a requisite for graduation. Academic adviser of three master’s thesis.
