The Computer Science System Support Group provides IT help for the department faculty and staff. We use a ticketing system to provide support through email, please send email to [email protected], or log in to helpdesk.cs.unm.edu using your CS credentials. There is also a handy FAQ for the most common problems we encounter. This is the preferred way to get help as either Rudy, Matthew, or David will get the email and be able to provide better support than email us directly.
The SSG provides walk-in assistance in FEC 3550 between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
Hours
The office is usually staffed during normal business hours (9 am to 4 pm). In general, if the light is on, step into our offices – someone will likely be able to assist you. We occasionally have to be out of the office for meetings or technical support, you are more than welcome to wait if our office is open. We maintain a board on our office door that we update with our status.
